Join Claire to make bread for today’s Commons Lunch and to reflect on the day’s theme.
10.30 – 11.45: Roseangle-River Circuit Walk with Tina Scopa
Join Tina for the second of five easy walks exploring a circuit that connects Roseangle Commons, Magdelene Green and the Tay Estuary.

12.00 – 14.30: Silvery Tay-Haired Women workshop with Kate Clayton
The second of two workshops exploring women’s resistance, ageing and related themes. (Booking essential.)

13.00 – 14.00pm: Food as Commons: creating a restorative food culture – a talk by Mike Small
(Note: lunch is available at Roseangle Cafe or by donation at the Roseangle Commons Hub from 12.30.)
14.30 – 17.30: Food in Common: Opportunities, Challenges and Resources – facilitated by Dundee Urban Orchard, Faith in Communities, Dundee Social Enterprise Network, Dundee Foodbank, and Common Good Food
An opportunity to meet and share insights with Dundee’s growing food network. The event aims to raise awareness about the gaps in provision and the emerging opportunities to generate a more sustainable food culture in Dundee and the surrounding area.

18.30 – 20.30: Food for Thought: A Waste-Not Picnic with Dundee University’s Creative Cooking Society
Using donated and preserved food that would otherwise go to waste, join the Creative Cooking Society for a delicious picnic and thought provoking discussion. (Feel free to bring something nutritious to share.)
